I am reminded of the famous quote of Bl. Mother Teresa of Kolkata, who Said “We don’t need guns and bomb to bring peace, we need Love and Compassion”. We see violence everywhere in the world, in our country even it is found in our society. The beautiful world where we live in and its cohabitants is a gift from God. The education system today must aim at this genuine task of bringing an inspiring change and acquiring proper understanding of truth among the students, in order to realize that the universe is a gift from God and the mankind is called upon to make this universe a better living place for us and for the future generations.
I am sure that St. Mary’s High School, Sunder Nagar is one of the institutions which focuses on value based education of the pupils; channelizing them to be a ‘Responsible Citizens’ to take care of their surroundings and make them beautiful.
