Attendance

Students must be punctual, and attendance at morning assembly is compulsory.
A student who arrives late will be required to bring an explanatory note from parents, and it is to be submitted to the class teacher.
One, who is habitually late or has been absent on the previous day, will be admitted to the class only with the permission of the Principal.
Students late for the third time will be sent home and considered absent.
Students who are regularly sick and fall short of the required 85% attendance may be asked to leave the School.
Attendance on the first day of the School after vacation is absolutely essential and mandatory. Those absent due to illness must inform the school either before or on re-opening day and present a medical certificate before they are admitted to the class. Pupils who do not join school on the first day without any information are liable to forfeit their places. A punitive fine may be imposed on late comers as a remedial measure.
